Alyssa Nordby

Alyssa Nordby is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist dedicated to helping patients achieve lasting improvements in their health through compassionate, evidence-based care. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and specializes in caring for patients with diabetes, obesity, metabolic health concerns, and hormone-related conditions.

Prior to joining Elevis Medical Group, Alyssa specialized in endocrinology and diabetes management, helping patients navigate complex conditions through education, lifestyle modification, and advanced medical therapies. She also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing, where she educated and mentored future nurses.

At Elevis Medical Group, Alyssa provides comprehensive telehealth care focused on medical weight management, testosterone replacement therapy, bioidentical hormone optimization, peptide therapies, and sexual wellness. She believes every patient deserves a treatment plan tailored to their unique goals, lifestyle, and health history. Her approach emphasizes education, collaboration, and helping patients understand the “why” behind their treatment so they feel confident throughout their health journey.

Outside of medicine, Alyssa lives in northeast Nebraska with her husband and children. Much of her free time is spent cheering on and chauffeuring her kids to their many activities. She enjoys baking, spending time with family and friends, and is an active member of her local church.
